It began with one orchid

My husband gave me my first orchid, and I never stopped falling in love — with him, and with orchids. That single bloom became a lifetime of them: thirty-five years of growing, collecting, chasing rare blooms across South Florida, coffee in hand every morning before work, checking on the ones that took patience to open.

It has always been my obsession.

A small shop, born from that obsession

In 2023, that same obsession quietly became something we shared — my daughter Melanie and me. I envision each piece. She is right beside me, loving the inspiration as much as I do, asking the questions that make it better.

We started Orchidique because we wanted to wear our own blooms, and nothing we found felt like ours. So we designed our own, one orchid at a time, each inspired by a flower from our greenhouse. Every piece is crafted to our exact design in 925 sterling silver, finished in 14K gold or rose gold plating.

Still, every sunrise

Coffee in hand, I check my blooms before the day begins. It is my quiet time — with my orchids, and with my mom, who I know is still with me. Orchids have taught me resilience, patience, and hope in the smallest new growth. That is what makes every piece priceless.
